Education

This documentary shows how an Inuit artist's drawings are transferred to stone, printed and sold. Kenojuak Ashevak became the first woman involved with the printmaking co-operative in Cape Dorset. This film was nominated for the 1963 Documentary Short Subject Oscar®.

Also, is the IMDB listing for this film (at least I think it is this film although is has a 1967 date) voiceover as Alma Houston. Unsure if the OP for that question is still following this thread, but thought I would pass that along if they were (and if it is correct). Cheers!

Absolutely fantastic film. We have recently installed a wonderful Inuit Art exhibit in our museum. Kenojuak is one of the collections featured artists, and having the film available to help enrich the visitors experience is wonderful. Thank you!

Thanks. I thought it may have been Frances Hyland ("Cattle Ranch"); but listening carefully the voices are different.

@sixam--> Unfortunately, I checked every source we have and couldn't find any info on the narrator. It's sadly very common with our films from the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
