“I hope you publish my comment and there is no screening process. He is a murderer, nothing less. If you try to immortalize him by saying he is an environmental activist, you are just as deluded as he was, Jim Jones and the Guyana affair...different pile, same smell!”

“I lived right by this situation as it happened with the young girl that was murdered in my mind. He was no different than Jim Jones or any other mentally unstable cult leader. He was very disturbed as is his family. I knew people who were friends of this beautiful young lady and he got away with murder and used his insanity to terrorize a community and the oil field companies..He makes me sick!”

“I never understood how bad things were on that homestead. You don't need to share their opinions about faith to see that they were forced to act in some way. I think the media likes to pick a side and exploit it. Not like they are going to tell the truth. Especially when there is a dollar involved. I think if you want to live in corporate America, then move there. Let's face it, Canada is a socialist government, just ask an american. I'm not saying that terrorism is right but I think that the big energy corporations are utilizing terrorism as well. They buy their loyalty and almost force people to allow them to do what they please. It isn't a matter of religion, it is a matter of having the right to live your life the way you see fit. Wow are people quick to jump on the corporate band wagon. Is proper society what YOU deem it to be? Who the hell are you anyway? It isn't like he was trying to force his beliefs on you. All it seems he was trying to do was protect his loved ones. Wouldn't you?”

“Wiebos war was not against Oil, it was against humanity. In everything he did he brought tormoil and destruction. He was contentious and could not be talked to or dealt with in any manner. He was a Terrorist, and a maniac to society . He resorted to terrorism rahter then trying to prove anything at all, instead of taking it to the courts, he blew up things and put others lives and property in jeopardy. Those who parade him as some sort of hero really need to take a good look at themselves and do a reality check. If you want to lift him up as a hero, maybe YOU need to leave proper society and go live in the bush as well.”

“Once again, the anti-Alberta, anti-oil, left-wing, taxpayer funded "media", is about to turn a truly evil villain into a hero. Wiebo was an extortionist, terrorist, and murderer. His claims against the oil company he was trying to extort money from were unfounded. Not a single one of the problems on his land was caused by oil and gas exploration, they were the result of poor farming practices. He bought some useless land, failed at farming, and tried to extort an oil company into buying the land from him, at an inflated price. When his ploy failed, he resorted to terrorism. None of his neighbours experienced a single problem with gas wells. This vile excuse for a human being is best forgotten.”

“As much as one might admire this man and his "fight" against big oil, it was this man who placed his family in harm's way. A bit of research will show that Ludwig's entire life has been filled with turmoil. Every church he led, he tore apart. He fled Ontario rather than face a warrant. As years went on he used his extended family as pawns in the only fight he had left..."Big oil".. that had on more than one occasion offered to buy him out. I have pity for the family but none for him. . ”
