Station 10

This feature film is a factual account of the life of policemen at one station in Montréal, drawn from 60 days and nights of on-the-spot filming in the early 1970s. It is a view of life in the inner city that usually only the policeman has reason to encounter. There are ugly incidents here, but there is also reassurance that people in trouble do have help at hand.

“I remember being picked up by the CN Police as a kid, They called Station 10 to come and get me. Capt Jacques Cinq-Mars and his partner were close by so they came to get me, The CN Police gave them the report, He tossed it, then drove me around the block bought 3 hotdogs for us all, we ate them he then gave me 15 cents for the bus and kicked me out of the car. Guess its a .....Cold Case now lol”
