Paula - (Trailer)

A child and a prostitute share the same stretch of sidewalk in a working-class neighbourhood. The child is busy playing when he witnesses an act of violence and finds himself plunged into the reality of the prostitute's world. Inspired by a news item, filmmaker Dominic Etienne Simard has created Paula, a short animation at the intersection of love and money, games and violence, prejudice and lack of understanding.
